What you'll do:
As a Senior System Analyst, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's IT systems. You'll be tasked with efficiently troubleshooting and resolving production incidents in a highly technical environment. Your expertise will be crucial in providing Tier II support to clients, responding to escalated tickets from Tier I support staff, and performing advanced troubleshooting of routers and systems. Additionally, you'll assist in technical feasibility studies, evaluate user requirements, and recommend solutions. Your commitment to maintaining existing systems/business applications will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve production incidents in a highly technical environment
* Provide Tier II support to clients related to issues with assigned business unit products and services
* Respond to escalated tickets from Tier I support staff
* Perform advanced troubleshooting of routers and systems
* Assist in technical feasibility studies, evaluate user requirements, and recommend solutions
* Maintain existing systems/business applications including troubleshooting and issue resolving
* Ensure compliance with SLAs and OLAs
* Provide post-production support and onsite implementation support
* Take system projects from start to finish
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior System Analyst position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. With at least 4 years of relevant user support experience under your belt, you're no stranger to the challenges that come with maintaining IT systems. Your 2+ years of experience with system administration (Windows Server) equips you with the necessary skills to excel in this role. Your excellent analytical skills enable you to solve complex problems independently while your strong determination allows you to thrive under pressure. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also crucial for this role.
* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma from a recognised institution include computer science, management information systems, or a related field
* 4+ years of relevant experience with user support
* 2+ years of relevant experience with system administration (Windows Server)
* Ability to travel within and outside the state as required
* Experience specialising in IT/Computer – Hardware support or equivalent
* Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
* Strong determination and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
