Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to handle customer orders, shipments, and services. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operations for logistics processes. Based in the bustling Klang Valley, you will be at the heart of a multinational company's logistics operations, handling a diverse range of client industries.

What you'll do:

As a Logistics Manager, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the smooth running of our client's logistics operations. You will lead a team responsible for managing daily operations and the distribution system. Your excellent organisational skills will be put to use as you manage incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring that all goods in the warehouse are handled correctly. Your strategic thinking will come into play as you develop a sub-contract management system. You'll also keep track of shipment returns, resolving any issues swiftly. Lastly, your strong interpersonal skills will be essential in liaising with government departments regarding import/export licensing and requirements.

  • Lead a team to manage daily logistics operations and distribution system.
  • Manage and ensure incoming and outgoing orders are handled efficiently.
  • Ensure goods in the warehouse are properly handled and stored.
  • Develop and implement a sub-contract management system.
  • Keep track of shipment returns and handle any issues promptly.
  • Maintain good liaison with government departments regarding import/export licensing and requirements.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Logistics Manager position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. With at least a diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, you have spent at least five years honing your skills in the 3PL/Logistics industry. Your knowledge of automation gives you an edge, allowing you to streamline processes where possible. Your leadership skills enable you to guide your team effectively, while your organisational skills ensure that all orders are managed efficiently. Your strategic thinking abilities are key to developing an effective sub-contract management system. Finally, your strong interpersonal skills make you adept at liaising with various government departments.

  • A minimum diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the 3PL/Logistics industry.
  • Knowledge in automation will be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
