About the Sales Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will generate new sales revenue and grow the customer base. You focus on solidifying customer relationships and close new businesses for the organisation. Areas of responsibilities include sales forecast, planning and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, prospect, develop and increase new business development opportunities
• Understand the customers’ supply chain needs and develop consultative logistics solutions that address the customer’s unique issues and goals
• Prepare competitive quotations and tailored recommendations to customers
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure the ongoing success and sustainability of the accounts
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue flows from the allocated portfolio
• Makes recommendations to management for forecasting, business planning and strategy for Pipeline business while ensuring branch alignment
• Accurate upkeep of Pipeline Opportunities
• Coordinates resources and collaborates throughout the company’s network to sell multiple products and services
• Grasp industry trends in trade, regulatory and market intelligence information and communicate them to customers

To succeed in the Sales Manager role, you will need to have the ability to build strong relationships with customers and implementing strategies to build a larger customer base while maximising growth and retention. You will also need to have knowledge and experience in freight forwarding and supply chain industries.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business or Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing or equivalent
• At least three years' relevant freight forwarding or supply chain industry experience
• Proven sales track record
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
