This role as an Order Management Specialist (Export) is critical to the successful execution of multiple intercompany areas of responsibility including arrangement of domestic and international shipments, internal customer service for product shipments, ensuring that Export/Import requirements are met, and performing specific replenishment transactions.

What you'll do:

As an Order Management Specialist (Export), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's supply chain. You will be responsible for arranging both domestic and international shipments, providing top-notch customer service for product shipments, ensuring that Export/Import requirements are met, and performing specific replenishment transactions. Your attention to detail, ability to prioritise tasks effectively, exposure to logistics and manufacturing planning processes will be key to your success in this fast-paced environment.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and trade compliance accuracy to internal and external partners for all shipments from manufacturing sites to affiliate warehouses.
  • Handle transport planning, transport ordering, shipping documentation, monitoring of operational progress and associated exception handling.
  • Verify and prepare export documents for compliance with local and international regulation.
  • Monitor freight payment and associated extra cost management.
  • Communicate daily with transport and logistics service providers, especially during peaks in transport demand and managing through capacity bottlenecks.
  • Resolve customer service issues such as product damage in transit, temperature variances, reports of missing product or documentation, delayed shipments etc.
  • Process return orders in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in coordination of new product launches within business/affiliate are aligned with global launch maps and supply is available.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Order Management Specialist (Export) role will bring a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain concepts, tools and business processes. You will have hands-on experience in export order management and shipping document handling. Your customer service focus and proven record of success in resolving conflicts and problem solving will be key to your success in this role. Your ability to collaborate cross-functionally at the leadership level as well as with broader teams will be highly valued. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence broadly are also essential for this role.

  • Understanding of Supply Chain concepts, tools and business processes including knowledge Manufacturing Operations, Planning, Logistics, EX/IM, SAP, Warehousing.
  • Understanding of Quality and Regulatory standards.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or applicable experience 2-4 years relevant experience in supply chain management.
  • Hands-on experience in export order management and shipping document handling.
  • Customer service focus with proven record of success in resolving conflicts and problem solving.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally at the leadership level as well as with broader teams.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to influence broadly.
  • Proven learning agility.
