What You’ll Do
As the Regional Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless demand planning across Asia Pacific markets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the demand planning process for assigned markets within the region.
- Developing accurate demand forecasts by integrating historical data, market trends, and commercial inputs.
- Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Country teams to align on demand assumptions, promotions, and product initiatives.
- Leading and contributing to S&OP/IBP cycles, including demand review discussions.
- Monitoring forecast accuracy, bias, and KPIs while proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Providing actionable insights on demand patterns, seasonality, and business drivers.
- Partnering with supply planning teams to balance service levels, inventory management, and supply constraints.
- Supporting product launches, discontinuations, and portfolio changes across the region.
- Driving continuous improvement in demand planning processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and regional exposure. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles within the FMCG industry or other fast-paced sectors.
- Experience managing multiple countries or regional portfolios (highly advantageous).
- A solid understanding of S&OP/IBP processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in planning systems such as SAP APO, IBP, Oracle, or equivalent tools.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities paired with excellent analytical skills.
- Effective stakeholder management skills within a regional matrix environment.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving regional setup.
