Save job

An internationally renowned FMCG powerhouse is on the lookout for a Senior Manager Supply Planning to energise their forward-thinking team in Kuala Lumpur! This is your chance to make a real difference, shaping the future of supply planning across the APAC region while working hand-in-hand with passionate colleagues and stakeholders.

What you'll do:

As Senior Manager Supply Planning in vibrant Kuala Lumpur, you’ll be at the heart of end-to-end replenishment planning for the APAC region. Your days will be filled with energising teamwork as you collaborate across departments to spot risks early, develop robust co-packer strategies, support S&OP cycles through insightful scenario analysis, and introduce fresh governance processes. You’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence by bringing advanced tools for inventory segmentation into play—all while building strong connections with both internal partners and external collaborators. To flourish here, you’ll need not just technical know-how but also an inclusive mindset that encourages teamwork, open knowledge sharing, and a spirit of continuous improvement throughout the supply planning function.

  • Take charge of replenishment planning activities across the entire APAC region, ensuring products are always available and inventory levels are perfectly balanced for multiple markets.
  • Spot potential supply challenges early by monitoring trends and working closely with internal teams to create effective solutions that keep everything running smoothly.
  • Craft detailed regional co-packer plans in partnership with marketing and other key players to meet business goals and respond swiftly to market needs.
  • Support scenario planning efforts and actively participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles, helping drive smart decisions that boost supply chain agility.
  • Roll out new processes and tools designed to strengthen governance frameworks, set co-packer standards, and optimise inventory segmentation for greater control.
  • Work collaboratively with procurement, logistics, finance, and commercial teams to ensure everyone is aligned on supply planning priorities and deliverables.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply planning effectiveness, regularly sharing insights with senior management to fuel ongoing improvement.
  • Promote best practices in supply chain management by staying up-to-date with industry trends and weaving innovative solutions into everyday operations.
  • Lead knowledge sharing sessions within the team to build a culture of learning, inclusivity, and mutual support where everyone can shine.
  • Champion process improvements by identifying workflow gaps and recommending practical solutions that make everything more efficient.

What you bring:

To truly shine as Senior Manager Supply Planning, you’ll bring hands-on experience from similar roles within large-scale organisations—ideally those operating shared services hubs or complex regional structures. Your background should include deep familiarity with MRP methodologies as well as comfort using leading planning systems like SAP or Anaplan. Beyond technical expertise, your talent for analysing data critically will help you navigate live planning scenarios or forecast inventory needs accurately. Experience within the FMCG sector will give you valuable insight into industry-specific challenges. Most importantly, your collaborative spirit—demonstrated through active participation in pioneering teams—will help foster an environment where knowledge flows freely, everyone feels included, and collective goals take centre stage.

  • Experience working within a Shared Services Centre (SSC) hub is highly regarded as it shows your ability to thrive in complex organisational settings where teamwork is essential.
  • A thorough understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) methodologies is crucial for managing intricate supply chains smoothly and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Anaplan or similar systems will give you an edge as these platforms are vital for live planning and accurate inventory forecasting.
  • Demonstrated skill in live planning and inventory projection means you can adapt quickly to changing market demands while keeping service levels high.
  • Strong analytical abilities are needed to interpret data effectively, spot trends early, and offer recommendations that benefit everyone involved.
  • Previous experience within the FMCG sector is a plus due to its fast-moving nature and unique supply chain dynamics.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for being part of an innovative team highlights your commitment to shared success and collaborative achievement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills help you build trust across diverse teams while fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued.
  • A proactive approach towards problem-solving enables you to anticipate challenges before they arise and implement effective solutions quickly.
