Demand and Supply Planner

A leading logistics provider is seeking a dedicated Demand and Supply Planner to ensure seamless supply continuity for customers while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

What you'll do:

As a Demand and Supply Planner, you will be at the heart of the organisation’s efforts to deliver reliable product supply while optimising stock levels.

  • Develop robust statistical forecasts and manage comprehensive inventory planning processes for multi-temperature finished goods, ensuring products are always available to meet market demand.
  • Maintain high levels of forecast accuracy by integrating market intelligence, promotional activities, and supply plans into forecasting models and inventory strategies.
  • Monitor inventory supply status closely, providing timely alerts and clear communication to relevant stakeholders when action is required to address potential issues or risks.
  • Collaborate extensively with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to align future projections, optimise inventory management practices within the system, and support overall business objectives.
  • Lead weekly reporting sessions with internal stakeholders to review performance metrics, discuss upcoming events or promotions, identify opportunities or risks, and agree on actions for continuous improvement in inventory management.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of slow-moving and obsolete products, preparing detailed reports and recommending actionable steps to minimise waste and maximise value.
  • Support go-live projects as needed by applying your experience in project environments to facilitate smooth transitions and successful outcomes.

What you bring:

To excel as a Demand and Supply Planner in this organisation, your background should reflect substantial exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations within similar industries such as FMCG.

  • Hold a minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Demonstrate 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management or Planning Management roles—preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector—enabling you to understand complex supply networks.
  • Possess strong analytical skills that allow you to interpret large datasets accurately and translate findings into practical forecasting solutions that drive business results.
  • Showcase excellent presentation abilities so you can communicate complex information clearly during meetings with internal teams or external partners.
  • Have proven experience in forecasting as well as demand planning or inventory management functions which ensures you can hit the ground running from day one.
  • Exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues across different departments.
