Demand Planner (Food Manufacturing)

Demand Planner An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Demand Planner to join a leading organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate forecast and timely product availability, which is essential for maintaining a smooth supply chain and meeting customer expectations.

What you'll do:

As a Demand Planner (Food Manufacturing), your primary responsibility will be to accurately forecast future customer demand. You will work closely with various teams including sales and marketing to ensure that the supply chain aligns with this predicted demand.

• Work closely with Go-To-Market team to understand demand forecast drivers
• Conduct consensus call meetings with account salesperson to review sales history and forecasts
• Utilize statistical models and software tools to improve forecasting accuracy
• Create and present reports on demand forecast
• Track forecast accuracy, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments to forecasting methodology
• Manage, change and create material code, customer, supply routing in SAP and BY planning tools system
• Provide training on Demand360, PBI dashboard and support to new users

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Demand Planner role will bring a wealth of experience in demand planning within the food manufacturing industry.

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Data Analyst or any related field
• 3 to 5 years work experience in demand planning within the ingredients, flavors manufacturing industry
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Experience with SAP & Blue Yonder planning tools is advantageous
• Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint
