What you'll do:
As a Supply Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in balancing demand and supply. You will collaborate with the Commercial Team and distributor to maintain demand plan accuracy. Your responsibilities also include working closely with the supplying country to ensure timely shipment documentation with full compliance. You will utilise system alerts to identify and resolve supply shortages or overstocks. Using your strong analytical skills, you will leverage supply chain data and tools to drive information-based decisions. Furthermore, you will support continuous improvement initiatives by developing and implementing best practices related to finished goods replenishment, inventory management, system utilisation, and review planning parameters.
- Execute daily/weekly/monthly planning cycle priorities ensuring product availability at DC’s.
- Sustain demand plan accuracy in system planning with right assumption.
- Work closely with supplying country to ensure on time shipment documentation with full compliance.
- Utilise system alerts to identify and resolve supply shortages/overstocks.
- Use supply chain data and tools to drive information-based decisions.
- Develop and implement best practices related to finished goods replenishment, inventory management, system utilisation and review planning parameters.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Supply Planning Specialist role brings a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Logistics or an equivalent field. You have at least three years of experience in Supply Planning within Consumer Goods or Manufacturing industries. Your strong technical knowledge includes proficiency with SAP/APO/PPDS/IBP tools. Experience in operations management and systems configuration and maintenance is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of SAP & APO is essential along with strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel including competency in pivot tables and macro functionality.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration; B.S. in Engineering, Finance, Logistics or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience of Supply Planning in Consumer Goods or Manufacturing
