Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supply Planning Specialist (APAC) to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:

As a Supply Planning Specialist (APAC), you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's supply chain operations. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the supply model. You will ensure that target stock levels are maintained according to the product life cycle, coordinating effectively with the demand planning team. Your ability to manage inventory alongside key stakeholders will contribute significantly to reducing working capital whilst fulfilling sales plans. Additionally, your involvement in new product launches and end-of-life product strategies will be invaluable. This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Support distribution planning best practices to identify ideal supply model opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensure the target stock level and replenishment model for each country are being deployed according to the product life cycle with its expected service level
  • Coordinate with the demand planning team for optimal inventory deployment
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to manage inventory and drive reductions in working capital while fulfilling sales plans and marketing-related activities
  • Monitor and execute distribution network, transportation, warehouse, and shipment planning towards lowering distribution and warehouse costs
  • Identify opportunities for product re-balancing in the distribution network between countries
  • Plan and organise new product launches and end-of-life product strategies in cooperation with the sales/marketing/demand planning team
  • Participate in Supply/Demand Review Meetings for regional and global-driven business units

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Supply Planning Specialist (APAC) role will bring a wealth of experience and a strong educational background. With at least a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years related working experience, you are well-equipped to lead or be part of S&OP with the commercial team. Your analytical skills will enable you to assess current processes and implement improvements where necessary. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, will be crucial for data analysis and presentations to stakeholders. Experience in project management across different functions or countries, as well as familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP SD/MM, APO, will be highly beneficial. If you have experience in Integrated Business Planning and can create Power BI or visualised dashboards, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree holder
  • Minimum of 3 years related working experience
  • Ability to lead or be part of S&OP with the commercial team
  • Ability to analyse current processes and work on process improvement
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and presentation skills (Able to do data analysis & present to multiple stakeholders)
  • Experience in Project management across different functions/other countries
  • Experience in ERP systems: SAP SD/MM, APO is a plus
  • Experience in Integrated Business Planning is preferred
  • Ability to create Power BI or visualised dashboard is an advantage
