An international automotive manufacturing company is currently seeking a Demand Planning Senior Executive. In this job, you will oversee its market demand planning and order planning for the SEA market.

About the Demand Planning Senior Executive Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for working alongside the regional sales stakeholders to forecast the current market demand and making a comparison to actual/historical market analysis of perceived demand within the SEA region. This role will as well be liaising with relevant manufacturing sites to ensure that the forecasts are properly communicated to cater for upcoming demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the current demand needs of the region to develop forecasts
• Lead the demand review with internal stakeholders and prepare sales summary reports to further develop sales forecasts
• Manage and adapt to changing S&OP environments and to action/anticipate warning signs within the S&OP
• Develop and propose demand programmes to management by optimising the allocated programme to achieve target sales and profitability
• Develop order planning activities according to lead times and maintaining a good level of coordination with production, S&OP and logistics teams
• Be the key window personnel to secure effective information flow between plant, order planning, logistics, and invoicing teams
• Prepare monthly detailed market demand report for the region in a timely manner

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills and hands-on approach to ensure that each internal stakeholder is able to provide the proper level of service in a timely manner and trouble shooting any issues that may arise while maintaining effective communications with plants and customer.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in commerce or any relevant industry
• Three to five years of work experience in demand planning, experience in the automotive industry is an added advantage
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
• Track record in managing various stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently whilst still being a team player
