A leading global food and beverage group is seeking a Regional Customer Service and Logistics Manager to join their organisation.
What you'll do:
As the Regional Customer Service and Logistics Manager, you will play an instrumental role in orchestrating end-to-end logistics operations across both local Malaysian markets and an extensive network of export destinations.
- Lead the overall customer service, logistics, and order management functions to support both domestic Malaysian business channels as well as export markets throughout Asia-Pacific and beyond.
- Drive operational efficiency by ensuring timely and accurate order processing, shipment scheduling, and delivery coordination for multiple product lines.
- Oversee all inbound, outbound, and drop shipment activities while managing carrier selection processes and monitoring performance to achieve cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, HS code declarations, MOH documentation, and maintain up-to-date licensing for smooth cross-border operations.
- Manage logistics costs by optimising freight spend and preparing detailed financial reports aligned with company budgets and audit standards.
- Act as the escalation point for key customer issues; resolve concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
- Monitor critical service performance metrics such as case fill rate (CFR), on-time-in-full (OTIF), order accuracy, and customer satisfaction scores; implement improvement plans where necessary.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Regional Customer Service and Logistics Manager position brings substantial experience from roles involving complex supply chain environments
- Minimum University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Industrial Engineering or similar field
- Extensive experience managing customer service or logistics operations within the FMCG sector or similar industries with complex supply chains.
- Proven track record of overseeing order management processes for both domestic distribution channels (modern trade/general trade) as well as international export markets.
- Strong understanding of international trade compliance requirements including customs regulations, HS code declaration procedures, MOH documentation protocols, and licensing renewals (LKIM/MICCI/SOLAS).
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to act as an escalation point for customer issues while fostering positive relationships with clients and internal teams alike.
- Collaborative approach when partnering with cross-functional teams such as Supply Planning or Finance to align logistics operations with sales targets or fiscal timelines.
- Hands-on involvement in new product development projects ensuring operational readiness from stock availability through to successful market launch.
- Analytical mindset capable of identifying process inefficiencies within supply chain operations; experience leading process improvement initiatives is highly valued.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while supporting annual audits or handling ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment.
