Program Manager Assistant
Our client, a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Program Manager Assistant to be based in Kulim.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Program Manager in managing an existing customer base and ensuring optimal customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be involved in order processing, extensive verbal and email communications with various departments within the company as well as customers/vendors. What you'll do:
As a Program Manager Assistant, your role will be pivotal in supporting the Program Manager in their daily activities. You will be responsible for assisting in the management of an existing customer base, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction. Your duties will include extensive order processing, managing daily production reports, coordinating activities between various departments, and communicating effectively via email with internal teams as well as external customers and vendors. Your ability to manage rescheduling requests and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction will be crucial to your success in this role.
- Assist sales account manager in day-to-day management of assigned accounts
- Conduct extensive order entry in accordance with standard guidelines
- Manage daily production reports related to assigned territory
- Coordinate activities between operations, production, accounting, issuing and shipping departments
- Utilise email for daily communication with other departments, vendors and customers
- Manage rescheduling requests and Open Order Report to assure 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD) and customer satisfaction
- Perform order processing and forecast loading
- Verify accuracy of purchase orders details before Sales Order (SO) entry
- Work with cross-departments to fulfil customer’s requirements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Program Manager Assistant role brings a wealth of experience from customer service or tech support roles. Prior experience in manufacturing would be advantageous, as would experience working with or for OEMs or CMs. You possess strong organisational and time management skills which enable you to excel in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent cross-functional communication skills allow you to interact effectively at all levels within complex organisations. You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and you have a proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 1-3 years experience in customer service or tech support preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience working with or for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proven team player that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent cross-functional and personal communication skills
- Effective in working both independently and in a team setting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
