The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring effective sales operations within the organisation.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Sales Engineer, your role will be pivotal in driving the company's growth. You will be involved in various aspects of business development, from participating in sales planning to developing growth strategies. Your keen understanding of the market trends will enable you to maintain a competitive edge. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will develop proposals that meet client needs and deliver outstanding customer value. Your excellent relationship management skills will be put to good use as you develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the industry.

  • Participate in the development of business, sales planning, and growth strategies
  • Maintain awareness of competitor information and participate in industry associations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and present solutions that meet client needs
  • Ensure business sustainability via balancing of sales, profitability and collection
  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the industrial automation industry
  • Regularly engage with clients to assess their requirements and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Sales Engineer position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. With at least three years' experience in a Sales function, you have developed strong knowledge of automation solutions and their applications. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Your proficiency in Windows applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint enhances your efficiency at work.

  • Diploma/degree in Engineering discipline (Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical)
  • Knowledgeable in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • At least 3-years’ experience in Sales function
  • Strong knowledge of automation solutions and their applications
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Experience in distribution sales or a related field is a plus
