Senior Sales & Application Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Sales and Application Engineer to join their dynamic team in Penang. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop new accounts, manage existing customer base, and provide technical solutions tailored to customers' needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and achieving sales targets while offering training and application support.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Sales and Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing new accounts and managing the existing customer base. Your excellent understanding of customers' needs will enable you to offer tailored technical solutions. You will also provide training and application support, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service. Planning, forecasting, and achieving sales targets will be a key part of your role. This position requires travel within Malaysia.

• Develop new accounts and manage existing customer base by evaluating sales potential
• Actively follow up with customers’ requirements
• Identify customers’ needs and offer technical solutions
• Provide training & application support to end user
• Plan, forecast and materialize sales target
• Travel within Malaysia as required

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Sales and Application Engineer position holds a Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with preferably 1 year of experience in the related industry. You have a technical background in areas relating to electronics test & measurement or electrical/electronics equipment. Your proficiency in computer hardware and software sets you apart from others. You are known for your ability to learn and assimilate new technology quickly. You are dynamic, independent, adaptable, capable of multi-tasking effectively, and possess your own transport.
