This role is pivotal in managing and growing key client relationships, acting as the main point of contact to ensure client satisfaction and delivering strategic guidance. The focus will be on client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You'll have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions to clients, while also identifying opportunities for service expansion and upselling.

What you'll do:

As an Account Manager, your role will be multifaceted. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all client needs, building strong relationships based on trust and mutual understanding. Your ability to provide strategic guidance will be crucial in identifying new opportunities for our clients. You will also play a key role in expanding our services by upselling solutions that drive additional revenue. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will work towards delivering optimal solutions that meet our clients' unique needs. Your proactive approach will keep you ahead of new technologies and competitive trends.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client needs and inquiries, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, understanding their business needs and goals
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing consultative advice and identifying new opportunities for clients
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and upsell solutions, driving additional revenue from existing and new clients
  • Develop account plans and strategies tailored to each client's goals and objectives
  • Proactively monitor and stay informed about new technologies and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as technical and marketing to deliver optimal solutions to clients
  • Communicate and prospect company’s solution offerings to clients
  • Track and report on account performance metrics, ensuring targets are met or exceeded

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Account Manager position brings a wealth of experience in IT sales, specifically within the FSI industry or large enterprise accounts. With at least 5 years under your belt, you have a proven track record of growing client accounts and maintaining high levels of retention. Your strong organisational skills enable you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality or attention to detail. As an independent thinker who is proactive, attentive, and goal-oriented, you are able to work autonomously while also contributing positively to the team. Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for this role.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales with a proven track record in client growth and retention
  • Experience in direct account management, preferably FSI industry and large enterprise accounts
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Independent, proactive, attentive, goal-oriented nature
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
