Pre-Sales Consultant

As a result of ongoing and continued successes, this e-commerce solutions provider is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant. In this job, you will join the sales division based in Malaysia.

About the Pre-Sales Consultant Role:
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you are responsible for consulting with the technical team to provide customised solutions meeting the customers technical and business requirements. You are also supporting the sales team and account manager on proposal activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely response to all customer queries. Collaborate with the operations and development team to ensure solutions are provided within agreed deadlines
• Establish and maintain lasting relationships with clients by understanding each of their business needs and anticipating new opportunities for sales
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities. Understand market trends and keep up to date on competitors’ activities
• Provide training and guidance to the sales team on market direction and client needs
• Create marketing concepts and sales proposals for the organisation's growth

The successful Pre-Sales Consultant must have strong customer service experience with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Key Requirements:

• Two to five years of experience in sales, marketing, or related field (preferably in the IT industry)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, or related courses
• Excellent time management skills. Creative, analytical, and proficient in strategic marketing, research and sales skills
• Able to work independently as well as on a team
