An exciting Senior Sales Engineer (Software Solutions) position has just become available at a well-established multinational organization.
In this business critical role you will be responsible for driving IT Solutions sales regionally for the organization:
- Be an aggressive self-starter with the ability to build relationships, articulate the company’s IT solutions and business value, create demand and close deals.
- Develop a pipeline of activity that focuses on short, medium, and long-term revenue opportunities within the assigned accounts that result in revenue generation
- Enable the Sales organisation (and trusted partners) into these methods and how to present the products within the overall solution concept
- Perform detailed Sales Presentations/ Demos / Proof of Concept on a technical level to customers/ partners when required
- Interact with solution partners to absorb their basic know-how and to present their solution within the overall Portfolio presentation
- Develop long term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements
To succeed in the Senior Sales Engineer (IT Solutions) role you will need to have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and the ability to build strong client relationships and partnerships.
- University or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering
- 5-8 years of selling software as a service solutions / IT software solutions
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets on a consistent basis.
- Enthusiasm to learn how to build and maintain solid client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
- Know how to create urgency to close sales by deadlines.
- Has a natural curiosity of clients, their workflow and how you can help them improve.
- Is self-motivated and self-managed.
- Can organize their day to focus on activity that delivers results.
- Is a proven team player, willing to share ideas and best practices.
- Ability to travel for customer visits and events within the APAC region
- Experience in a support, development, engineering, information technology (IT) organization is a plus
