An exciting Sales Effectiveness Manager job has just become available in a multinational tyre manufacturer. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role aligns sales and marketing efforts to drive business growth and enhance customer engagement.
About the Sales Effectiveness Manager Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible on for assessing, developing, and implementing strategies to enhance the sales performance of a company. This role collaborates closely with sales teams, monitors sales processes, and devises strategies to optimise sales techniques, customer engagement, and sales pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales team effectiveness, including conversion rates, sales cycle length, deal size, and win rates
Develop and implement training programs that enhance sales representatives' skills, product knowledge, and selling techniques
Collaborate with sales leadership to develop sales strategies aligned with market trends, customer preferences, and business objectives
Provide coaching and mentoring to sales teams, offering guidance on improving sales techniques, objection handling, and negotiation skills
Analyse sales performance data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement, and use insights to guide strategic decisions
Implement strategies to ensure a healthy and well-managed sales pipeline, focusing on lead qualification and progression
Utilise historical data and trends to provide accurate sales forecasts, aiding in resource allocation and business planning
Establish a feedback loop with sales teams to gather insights and input on sales processes, challenges, and opportunities
To succeed in this Sales Effectiveness Manager role, you must be a strategic thinker who can align sales strategies with business goals and drive continuous improvement in sales operations.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of three years' experience in sales
At least a bachelor’s degree holder
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-starter and results-oriented individual with the confidence to take risks and partner with business leaders as required
High sense of drive and urgency with a positive outlook
