What you'll do:
As a Sales Executive based in Penang, you will be at the forefront of building lasting connections with customers while driving sales performance across your assigned territory. Your day-to-day activities will involve strategic planning of customer visits, leveraging CRM systems for data-driven decision-making, executing impactful promotional campaigns, and ensuring that merchandising standards are consistently met. You will act as a trusted advisor for clients by providing operational support throughout the sales process—from order placement through after-sales service—ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of the organisation. - Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers by understanding their needs and gathering valuable business intelligence to inform sales strategies.
- Analyse customer profiles within your designated area to create effective daily call plans, including journey planning, setting clear selling objectives, preparing persuasive presentations, and ensuring all sales equipment is ready for use.
- Utilise CRM tools such as Salesforce.com to manage selling objectives, monitor inventory levels, and generate detailed sell-through status reports for territory outlets.
- Implement quarterly promotional activities in line with marketing objectives by delivering engaging presentations using persuasive selling skills tailored to each customer segment.
- Secure or enhance merchandising space within territory outlets by effectively promoting products through point-of-sale materials provided by the Sales & Marketing teams.
- Increase or maintain customer share of spend on vision care products by aligning with throughput trends and identifying new opportunities for growth within assigned accounts.
- Provide comprehensive operational support to customers by managing sales orders through the Customer Service Department, handling product exchanges and returns efficiently, addressing consumer complaints promptly, and overseeing credit terms and collections processes.
- Ensure all adverse events or product complaints related to vision care products are reported swiftly to relevant internal stakeholders according to established protocols.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal customer satisfaction.
- Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required by management to support overall business objectives and contribute positively to team goals.

- Minimum SPM qualification or higher is required along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint which enables efficient reporting and presentation preparation.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English as well as Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders across internal departments and external partners.
- At least two years’ experience in sales, retail or other customer-facing roles—preferably within healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors—demonstrates your capability to thrive in similar environments.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing account revenue highlights your results-oriented approach and reliability as a team member.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com is advantageous as it supports efficient management of customer information and sales activities.
