Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead sales initiatives, develop market strategies, and drive revenue growth in assigned business areas. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with various departments, including Marketing and Trade Marketing, to tap into market opportunities and optimise company budgets.

What you'll do:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's success. Your primary responsibility will be meeting or exceeding the company's sales budget revenue set by channel in your assigned business areas. You will also be tasked with building, developing, and expanding sales opportunities. Working closely with various departments such as Marketing and Trade Marketing, you will develop plans that address market dynamics and tap into new opportunities. Your ability to manage company profitability by channel and product mix will be crucial. Additionally, you will contribute to the Sales & Marketing plan in the 2+1 - month plan.

  • Meet or exceed company sales budget revenue set by channel in the business areas.
  • Build, develop and expand sales opportunities in the assigned business areas.
  • Work with various departments i.e. Marketing, Trade Marketing, to develop a plan to address the market dynamics.
  • Manage the company profitability by channel and product mix.
  • Contribute to the Sales & Marketing plan in the 2+1 - month plan.
  • Ensure compliance of Trade Hygiene Management being adopted by reporting line team.
  • Identify and propose training needs to support reporting line in the sales team.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Regional Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience and skills to the table. You hold a degree in Marketing or Business from a reputable University and have spent 8-10 years working in a well-recognised FMCG company, with at least 5 years in sales management. Your track record of driving sales growth in competitive and mass categories speaks for itself. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and have experience managing teams and developing junior managers. Your strong business acumen allows you to develop plans and budgets, build systems, and operate within those guidelines.

  • Degree in Marketing or Business from a reputable University.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a well-recognised FMCG company, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth in competitive & mass categories.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skill.
  • Experience of managing team & developing junior managers.
  • Strong business acumen, able to develop plan & budget, build system & operate within those guidelines.
  • Willingness to travel with min 7 days in a month or whenever necessary to 2 assigned region to meet customer (Preferred Distributor).
