What you'll do:

As the General Manager, Sales & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's property portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the marketing & sales functions within your assigned project and region. You will be tasked with developing innovative marketing plans, policies, promotions while ensuring efficient operations. Your ability to evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor activities will be crucial in driving success. Furthermore, your leadership skills will come into play as you coach, mentor, and motivate your team towards continuous improvement. Your commitment to delivering quality service to customers across all operational departments will be key in maintaining our client's reputation for excellence.

  • Manage and coordinate the marketing & sales functions within the assigned project and region
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, policies, promotions as well as ensuring efficient operations of the marketing & sales functions
  • Provide budgetary control, sales forecasts and gross margin analysis
  • Evaluate customer research, market condition and competitors' activities
  • Coach, mentor and motivate sales/marketing team members and ensure continuous improvement
  • Develop market research and intelligence as well as industry database for innovative marketing concepts, strategies and products
  • Achieve quarterly sales and conversion budgets and targets
  • Ensure quality service deliverance to customers from all operational departments

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this General Manager, Sales & Marketing role brings a wealth of experience from the property industry. With at least a Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or Marketing under your belt, you have spent a minimum of 8 years in a senior management position within the property development industry. Your extensive knowledge of Malaysian property - spanning service apartments, offices, retail, and hotels - is complemented by your understanding of the rules and guidelines governing the property industry. Your strong management skills, excellent decision-making abilities, and superior communication skills make you a standout candidate. Lastly, your strong business acumen enables you to effectively manage business units to achieve projected revenue and profitability.

  • Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in senior management position in property development industry
  • Good working knowledge of Malaysian property including service apartments, office, retail, hotel etc.
  • General knowledge on rules and guidelines on property industry
  • Strong management skills with good decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Strong business acumen to manage business units to achieve projected revenue & profitability with effective cost management
