Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in spray technology, serving industries such as Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Surface Finishing.

What you'll do:

As a Technical Sales Executive, your primary role will be to drive sales growth by promoting our products and solutions. You will work closely with potential clients to understand their needs, providing technical expertise that meets their requirements. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner will be key to your success. You will also collaborate with engineering and product development teams to address customer needs and feedback. Additionally, you will manage client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions.
  • Understand and articulate the technical features and benefits of our products.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to clients during the sales process.
  • Manage client accounts and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to provide insights into sales performance.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Technical Sales Executive position brings a wealth of experience in technical sales within the food and beverage industry, pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry or surface finishing industry. You possess strong technical knowledge which you can effectively communicate to non-technical audiences. Your excellent communication skills enable you to negotiate effectively and present confidently. As a self-motivated individual, you are driven by results and have proven success in achieving sales targets.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role, preferably in food and beverage industry, pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry or surface finishing industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Sales Force and SAP is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
