An exciting Key Account Manager job has just become available at a electrical/electronic manufacturing company in Penang.

This company is seeking a Key Account Manager with the ability to drive sales and business development strategies for growth and profitability of the business unit and organization. This role offers an opportunity to establish the new business, execute sales plans and strategies.

What you’ll do:

As a Key Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be developing territory plans to meet or exceed sales targets for assigned region or accounts.

  • Identify and develop new business/accounts, also expand opportunity pipelines for existing and new products
  • Establish relationships to develop account plans and achieve sales targets
  • Provide accurate forecast and sales data to management for assigned region or accounts
  • Manage distributors / channel when necessary to execute business growth plan
  • Understand and use knowledge of market trends, new products and technologies of the industry, and competitors including their production, processes, activities and capability.
  • Demonstrate good product knowledge in product recommendations and in managing quality issues

What you bring:

The ideal Key Account Manager not only bring strong solution selling approach, also with the understanding on the business value and leverage it effectively when planning and conducting negotiations. You must also possess the following:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in any related field
  • Must possess own transport
  • About 5 years of selling experience in electronics industry with successful sales track record
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, result oriented and adaptability to thrive in a competitive environment
  • Good in data analyst & presentation
  • Good command of written and spoken English, if with Japanese will be added advantages
