About the Area Sales Manager, SEA Role: As the Area Sales Manager for the Southeast Asia Region, you will play a pivotal role in steering the division towards new heights of success. Your leadership and strategic acumen will be essential in driving business development initiatives and fostering strong relationships within the region.
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies for the Southeast Asia Region, aligning with overall corporate goals
Identify and evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making
Drive the expansion of the Division focusing on market penetration and capturing new business opportunities
Develop and execute effective market entry strategies to maximise revenue and profitability
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, and strategic partners in Southeast Asia business community
Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development to ensure seamless execution of business strategies
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and cohesion across different departments
The successful Area Sales Manager, SEA is business development focused and eager to expand business within a growing market.
At least a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemicals, Automation, Process Technology or equivalent
Minimum of five years’ in sales related industries, or mechanical system project handling
Proven experience in business development, preferably in mechanical and machinery supplies for heavy industries sector such as cement industries, steel making industries, waste incinerating plant, or thermal power plant
Good commercial knowledge in statistics and market analysis for the local market with strong channel management experience
Strong command of the English and local languages in Malaysia
