An international company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven candidate for a Sales Manager (Material Handling) job to lead the sales team in the material handling industry.

About the Sales Manager (Material Handling) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets
• Analyse market trends and customer needs to adapt sales approaches
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team
• Set clear sales targets and provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure team success
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through effective lead generation and prospecting
• Work closely with the Key Account Manager to ensure the successful management and growth of key accounts
• Collaborate on strategies to retain and expand existing client relationships
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to clients
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials
• Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports on key metrics and KPIs
• Utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies
• Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in the material handling sector
• Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment between sales strategies and overall company goals
• Maintain regular and periodic review discussions with Country Manager and factories to ensure progressive development of the sales effort and feedback of marketing information in the assigned territories
• Maintenance and optimisation of the Distribution network in cooperation with the Country Manager
• Assist in Annual Budgeting and quarterly Planning of Order Income, Sales (Revenue) and Gross Margins for Sales, Leasing, Hire Purchase and Rental business for markets in responsible territories

To succeed in this Sales Manager (Material Handling) role, the ideal candidate has to have a strong background in B2B sales, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of material handling solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of six years' experience in B2B sales, with a significant portion in a leadership role within the material handling industry
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Strong understanding of material handling solutions and technologies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and team-building abilities
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset
• Fluency in written and spoken English and other local languages
