About Assistant Area Sales Manager (Southern Region) Role:
The Assistant Area Sales Manager for the Southern region distributor is responsible for developing and executing annual business plans, aligning trade plans with marketing objectives, and managing key customer and distributor relationships. This role also involves leading and developing the distributor retail channel team to enhance sales fundamentals and operational efficiency, ultimately driving business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and gain approval for annual business plans, including detailed sales strategies for top customers and sub-channels
• Set and monitor monthly and quarterly targets in alignment with annual plans
• Oversee execution of approved retail channel business plans through distributor branch management
• Collaborate with marketing to align trade plans with marketing objectives and new product development
• Negotiate trading terms, A&P spend, and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors
• Plan and ensure successful execution of promotions and trade activities

To excel as the Assistant Area Sales Manager (Southern Region) overseeing the southern region distributor, you must possess strong leadership and strategic planning skills to drive business growth. Effective communication, negotiation, and team management are essential for building and maintaining successful distributor relationships while achieving sales objectives.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in business studies or related disciplines
• Five years of experience in FMCG sales and marketing in the southern region with market expertise
• Expertise in annual planning, target setting, and aligning sales with marketing
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Proficient in the field of general trade and collaborating with distributor networks
