A company in the tiny living industry is recruiting for a Sales Manager (Modular House) job for the team in Malaysia.
About the Sales Manager (Modular House) Role: This exciting opportunity is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. The role is pivotal in aligning sales and marketing efforts, identifying market opportunities, and creating actionable plans to effectively promote products or services. You will work closely with cross‐functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns and sales enablement programs covering North America, European and Oceania regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Supports the preparation of offers, bids, contracts and other sales-related documents by internal/external customers
Develop comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and market trends. Identify key target markets, customer segments, and competitive advantages to drive revenue growth
Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitors. Utilise data‐driven insights to formulate effective sales approaches
Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, resources, and training to maximise their effectiveness. Ensure sales representatives have a deep understanding of the marketing strategies and are equipped to convert leads into customers
Identify potential partnerships and alliances that can enhance the company's market reach and sales capabilities. Develop and manage sales process flow to drive mutual growth
Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement. Present reports and insights to the sales leadership team
Collaborate with the sales team and finance department to create accurate sales forecasts and budget projections based on market trends and historical data
To succeed in this Sales Manager (Modular House) role, you must have prior commercial experience preferably within the targeted region.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Controls Engineering or related field
Five years' experience in sales, business development and operation function
In-depth knowledge of the USA and European regions
Good presentation and communication skills, both spoken and written English and other local languages
