A multinational company is recruiting for a Sales Manager (Machines) job in their sales team in Malaysia.
About the Sales Manager (Machines) Role:
In this critical role, you will present, promote and sell industrial equipment and solutions for the food industry – processing segment in close cooperation with the Division Manager to actively support the company’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate sales calls and visit existing and potential customers
- Conduct presentations and demos, proof of concepts and any other related demonstrations as relevant to sales
- Perform analyses of existing and potential customers’ needs and offer solutions that address their needs
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions in line with company’s standards, rules and regulations or as directed
- Cooperate and coordinate with team members especially the Senior Sales Manager – Food Packaging and other departments, to offer solutions that fulfil the customer’s needs
- Analyse the territory/market’s potential and identify potential customers in close cooperation with the Division Manager
- Supply the management and exchange with the Division Manager information on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities
- Keep updated on relevant knowledge, trends, and best business practices
To succeed in this Sales Manager (Machines) role, you must have prior sales experience in the food processing industry.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum of three years' sales experiences in machines
- Fluency in written and spoken English and other local languages
