An exciting Regional Head of Sales job has just become available at one of the leading international hardware engineering manufacturers based in the Northern Region, within close vicinity of Penang. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a role for a sales professional who is a leader in their field.
About the Regional Head of Sales role:
In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of the Company’s key objective of developing profitable sales and profit growth goals across the assigned regions.
- Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Product Promotion and Distributor Development for increasing sales in the region
- Responsible to penetrate new markets/ regions and secure the existing clients
- Create and execute a territory sales plan to meet and exceed the establish sales quotas with maximise the company profit
- Complete sales activity report and presentations in a timely manner
- Contribute to daily and long term company business strategies
To succeed in the Regional Head of Sales job, you must have proven track record in strategic thinking, with the ability to identify areas for development and then implement to achieve targets/ KPIs.
- A diploma or degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Engineering or any other recognised degree in any field
- Minimum 10 years' Business Development or Sales and Marketing Experience and five years in a managerial position
- Proven new OEM development in region, with a strong sales record, and strong professional marketing background and skills are highly regarded
- Creative, proactive, optimistic, accountable, ownership and willingness to face for new challenges and pressure
- Good analytical and presentation skills required
- Strong reporting and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task are essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple accounts, goals and objectives
- Ability to work independently and set priorities appropriately to achieve goals
- Willingness to jump in and grow with an energetic start-up
