What You Will Do
- Lead the Malaysian business with full P&L accountability, driving both organic and inorganic growth through product and geographical expansion.
- Execute the group’s strategy locally while upholding core values of integrity, reliability, trust and sustainability.
- Accelerate high‑impact growth across trading activities and system‑based solution offerings, including engineering, design, and services.
- Identify new business opportunities, conduct market analysis, and cultivate strategic supplier relationships in the region.
- Build and strengthen the local sales, service, and engineering functions to support scalability and operational excellence.
- Ensure financial discipline across budgeting, cashflow, forecasting, and cost control.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global product leaders to align plans, budgets, and operational priorities.
- Represent the company externally with customers, partners, and authorities, elevating its market presence.
What You Bring
- 5–10 years of sales or commercial leadership experience in industrial sectors such as engineering, machinery, industrial automation, hydraulics, mechatronics, or technical components.
- Strong ability to develop and motivate teams while instilling accountability and stronger work discipline.
- Proven success driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and market expansion within B2B industrial markets.
- Ability to engage customers in technical or solution‑based discussions; familiarity with engineered components or motion technology is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with exposure to P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decision‑making.
- Hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable leading within a lean, mid‑sized organisation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and other local languages
- Cultural adaptability to lead teams with varied communication styles.
