Our client is seeking a dedicated and creative Merchandiser to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role also involves price negotiation with suppliers, distribution of merchandise to stores, and quality control inspection.

What you'll do:
As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's product offerings. Your keen understanding of market trends will guide your analysis of sales figures and customer reactions, enabling you to anticipate product needs effectively. You will plan and develop product ranges that strike a balance between meeting customer expectations and achieving the company's objectives. Your creativity will be put to good use as you design apparel and artworks, determine fabrication & accessories, choose colours and confirm lab-dips. You will also manage the sampling process, negotiate prices with suppliers, distribute merchandise to stores, and perform quality control inspections.
* Analyse sales figures, customers reactions & market trends to anticipate product needs
* Plan & develop product ranges that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
* Design apparel, artworks, determining fabrication & accessories, choosing colours and confirming lab-dips
* Manage sampling process including confirming samples & bulk accessories
* Negotiate prices with suppliers and place orders
* Distribute merchandise to stores
* Perform quality control inspections
* Handle other tasks related from time to time
