This pivotal position will oversee the sales, marketing, and P&L of an established luxury township while driving innovative business strategies. What you'll do:

As the Head of Business Development & Customer Strategy, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of one of Malaysia’s most prestigious townships. Your role will involve developing strategic plans to maximise potential, building a distinct brand identity that appeals to luxury buyers and investors. You will lead sales and marketing efforts while managing all revenue streams. Your ability to conduct in-depth market analysis will be crucial in identifying trends and opportunities. You will have full accountability for the township’s P&L, ensuring operational efficiency across all aspects.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to maximise the township’s potential
  • Build a distinct brand identity that appeals to luxury buyers and investors
  • Identify and develop partnerships, joint ventures, and commercial opportunities
  • Lead sales and marketing efforts for remaining residential properties
  • Manage all revenue streams, including property sales, rentals, and community services
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Full accountability for the township’s P&L, including cash flow, budgeting, and cost control
  • Drive operational efficiency across all aspects of the township’s management

What you bring:

As our ideal candidate for the Head of Business Development & Customer Strategy role, you bring a wealth of experience from the property development industry. With your Bachelor's degree in Business or Real Estate (or related field), you have spent at least 10 years honing your skills in strategic planning, business development, and P&L management. Your strong leadership skills enable you to motivate teams effectively while managing diverse stakeholders. An entrepreneurial mindset coupled with your flair for innovation makes you stand out. Your passion for luxury products is evident through your strong appreciation for design excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the property development industry
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, sales & marketing and P&L management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a flair for innovation and creative problem-solving
  • Passion for luxury products and a strong appreciation for design excellence
  • Able to be based full-time in Johor Bahru
