Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage sales, operations, asset protection, and human resources functions of a boutique to ensure optimum profitability and a great customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for motivating and inspiring their team to achieve productivity and sales goals.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of the boutique. Your responsibilities will include everything from managing sales and marketing initiatives to overseeing staffing and inventory management. You will also be tasked with ensuring that the boutique's customer service standards are consistently met. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Manage daily operations of the boutique including opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store at all times
  • Recruit staff for the designated store as needed
  • Ensure sales performance meets company expectations
  • Promote boutique awareness through well-planned marketing programs
  • Ensure stocks are intact at all times in the designated store
  • Provide excellent customer service according to company standards
  • Ensure cash sales are banked-in as per schedule arranged by the company

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sales associate roles
  • Previous experience in leadership or management roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of merchandise, its exact location and its prices
  • Good time management skills to meet realistic deadlines
  • Great customer service skills including patience and active listening
  • Conflict management skills to resolve customer issues effectively
  • Presentation skills and knowledge of best visual and marketing display practices
