This role is within a prominent real estate company with a diverse portfolio across property development, property management, and asset management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth and achieving sales targets by effectively managing the sales team and leading the marketing efforts for the company’s industrial parks. These parks are strategically located in key areas, offering significant opportunities for growth and expansion.

What you'll do:

As a Lead in Sales & Marketing (Industrial Property), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth within our client's diverse portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the sales team effectively while leading marketing initiatives for various industrial parks. You will be involved in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, agency collaboration, business planning, customer relationship management, reporting & forecasting, as well as market analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the marketing and sales strategy for a key segment of the business.

  • Successfully manage the sales team to achieve growth and sales targets.
  • Lead the marketing department in selling industrial land within the company’s various industrial parks.
  • Oversee the preparation of strategic planning forecasts for the marketing department.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional and engagement strategies for both existing and future developments.
  • Establish strong relationships with chambers of commerce, MIDA, Invest Johor, MABIC, MDEC, and other promotional agencies to promote industrial assets.
  • Collaborate with reputable real estate agencies to penetrate the industrial market and generate leads.
  • Design and execute a strategic business plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
  • Foster and maintain long-lasting customer relationships by understanding and addressing their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and shifts in the market, staying fully informed on new products and competitive status.
