What you'll do:
As Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's real estate operations in China. You will be responsible for establishing the business plan, monitoring compliance, overseeing the management team, identifying new opportunities, providing guidance to stakeholders, advocating for improvements, and ensuring operational efficiency. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering high-quality developments and driving sustainable growth.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Managing Director role brings a wealth of experience in property investment, asset management, and development. You have lived and worked extensively in China - particularly Shanghai - giving you a deep understanding of its real estate market. Your strategic thinking abilities are complemented by your financial acumen and business development skills. As a leader, you excel at influencing others through excellent communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in property investment, asset management, and development
- Proven success managing commercial and office assets within property development sector
- Strong understanding of China's real estate market including regulatory, economic, cultural factors
- Must have experience living and working in China; particularly Shanghai; within the property & real estate sector
- Willingness to relocate to Shanghai, China
- Exceptional strategic thinking, financial acumen, business development skills
- Excellent leadership, communication skills with ability to influence others
