Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales for their Process Instrumentation division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the overall sales operations and management of the division, taking ownership for the formulation and direction of the division's growth strategy and implementation of projects and plans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the division's P&L, ensuring a profitable performance driven by an engaged team striving to meet key performance targets, sales targets and agreed key performance indicators.

What you'll do:

As Head of Sales for Process Instrumentation, you will take charge of strategic planning, business development, technical advisory, people management, and customer relationship management. You will be instrumental in driving growth through effective leadership, fostering strong relationships with key clients, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Your role will involve regular reporting on divisional performance, guiding your team in key account management, supporting marketing campaigns, and maintaining a robust customer database. Your ability to identify potential customers, plan sales calls effectively, and manage a dynamic sales team will be crucial to your success.

  • Plan and manage the division according to agreed country development strategies
  • Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and values in all areas of operational activity
  • Support the delivery of all marketing campaigns
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and optimisation of quality of service
  • Provide periodic reports on performance of the division against set targets
  • Monitor and provide guidance on the development of qualified customer database for targeted segments
  • Support the design and execution of all marketing campaigns, leads generation and management activities
  • Participate in Sales visits to key customers to build customer relationship
  • Manage the Sales team in qualifying database and updating CRM
  • Establishing new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organising sales call schedules

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Sales role brings a wealth of experience in technical sales environments along with exceptional leadership skills. You are a self-starter with a proactive approach, possessing sound technical and business acumen. Your interpersonal and communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to foster strong relationships both within your team and with customers. You have a customer-focused mindset and are a natural team player. Your analytical thinking and problem-solving skills will be key in driving continuous improvement and innovation within the division. A degree in Science or Chemical Engineering is highly preferred, along with proficiency in English.
