What you'll do:

As a Sales Application Manager, your primary role will be to provide product application solutions to sales channels and customers. You'll do this through engaging product training sessions, insightful seminars, and hands-on workshops. Your expertise will also be crucial in implementing go-to-market strategies that aim at achieving overall revenue targets and increasing our market share. You'll work closely with distribution channels to build sales funnels, perform competitive analysis on Test & Measurement products, and ensure we're always one step ahead of the competition. Your ability to foster good relationships with existing customers while identifying new sales opportunities will be key to your success in this role.

  • Establish relationships with Channels and customers by making regular customer visits and calls
  • Provide product application solution to sales channels and customers through product training, customer product complaint handling, sales visits, seminars, etc
  • Support the implementation of go-to-market strategy/tactical plans and programs to achieve overall revenue targets, brand awareness and market share goals
  • Build & follow up monthly basis on sales funnel with channels to meet forecasted monthly and annual target
  • Provide counter proposal or seek request for support to management should there be a gap in forecasted PO
  • Manage, motivate and facilitate success Channel’s Rep within territory to meet performance goals
  • Responsible to manage Travel and Entertainment budget allocated on monthly basis to avoid exceeding the overall planned allocation

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Sales Application Manager role will bring a wealth of sales experience, particularly within a technical or industrial environment. You'll have a proven track record in demonstrating and selling test & measurement equipment at a technical level. Your ability to manage channels and sales within a similar industry will be crucial, as will your analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills. We're looking for someone who can build strong relationships at all levels, from executives to peers, and who has good technical or engineering knowledge. Experience in the test and measurement industry is highly desirable.

  • Proven sales track record and ability to successfully demonstrate and sell test & measurement equipment at a technical level
  • Channel/Sales management experience working in a similar industry field sales role
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in a technical/industrial environment
  • Analytical and data driven problem solver
  • Ability to build strong high-level executive and peer relationships
  • Good technical/engineering knowledge; experience in test and measurement industry desired
