Channel Sales Manager, System Integrator (Electrical)

Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive their System Integrator (SI) Channel business across Malaysia. This role is critical in managing and growing relationships with SI partners, ensuring they integrate and promote their solutions effectively to end users.

You will play a key role in expanding market share, increasing revenue, and strengthening partnerships with System Integrators.

What you'll do:

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the System Integrator (SI) Channel business across Malaysia. Your role will involve developing a sales strategy to increase market penetration, establishing strong relationships with System Integrators, identifying new business opportunities, monitoring performance metrics, leading negotiations for key contracts, improving customer satisfaction, and coaching the sales team.

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase market penetration and business growth within the SI channel.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with System Integrators, ensuring they are well-equipped to sell and integrate our solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities with existing and potential partners.
  • Monitor performance metrics (order growth, profitability, market share) and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Lead negotiations for key contracts and agreements.
  • Improve customer satisfaction by implementing feedback from surveys and market research.
  • Coach and develop the sales team to achieve high performance.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Channel Sales Manager position will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration along with at least 8 years of experience in sales or channel management. You should have experience in Low Voltage Solutions and possess strong commercial acumen. Excellent negotiation skills are essential for this role as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or Business Administration.
  • At least 8 years of experience, including 5 years in a leadership role within sales, channel management, or business development in a complex B2B environment.
  • Experience in Low Voltage Solutions (Breakers, enclosures, control products, UPS, EV chargers, LV Switchgear, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong relationships with System Integrators (SI) partners within the Electrical sector
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders.
