The successful candidate will work closely with the Group MD to develop and implement strategies for new ventures, establish a team of sales & marketing professionals, and drive overall business growth. This role offers the chance to build and nurture dealer relationships, manage budgets, and ensure financial targets are met.

What you'll do:

As the General Manager of Sales & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's business. You will be responsible for developing strategies that drive growth across new business lines. Your role will involve conducting market research to identify opportunities, leading sales initiatives, managing dealer networks, establishing new channels, overseeing product launches, monitoring performance, and adjusting strategies as necessary. Your leadership skills will be crucial in recruiting, training, mentoring your team, ensuring they are equipped to meet their objectives.

  • Developing and executing strategies for new business lines
  • Conducting market research to identify opportunities and trends
  • Leading sales and marketing efforts to achieve business goals
  • Managing and expanding the dealer network, building strong, lasting relationships
  • Establishing new dealer channels for the new business lines where relevant
  • Building and maintaining relationships with dealers and partners

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this General Manager of Sales & Marketing position brings a wealth of experience in sales and marketing within spare parts / lubricants / hardware machinery / power tools industries. With over 10 years' experience under your belt, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, you have a proven track record of success in dealer management. Your entrepreneurial mindset and experience in starting up business lines or companies will be highly valued. You possess strong strategic and leadership skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a proven ability to establish new dealer channels.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with more than 5 years in a leadership role
  • Extensive experience in dealer management within the automotive / lubricants / spare parts / hardware machineries / power tools industries
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; past experience in starting up business lines or companies would be an added advantage
  • Proven ability to establish new dealer channels
  • Strong strategic and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
