A leading international provider of electrical test and measurement equipment is seeking a driven and independent APAC Sales Manager (Test & Measurement). In this job, you will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the APAC Sales Manager (Test & Measurement) Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, your will be responsible to manage and drive the sales and marketing of products and services across APAC countries. You will be responsible for appointing and managing key local distribution partners in the region and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, appoint, train and manage potential local partners within APAC
• Execute promotional services and marketing initiatives, including exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and training programmes
• Collaborate with other Area Sales Managers through teamwork, reporting, and coordination
• Provide technical advice and support to customers and partners
• Develop application notes, reports, and technical documentation, and deliver presentations at relevant seminars/conferences
• Design and conduct technical and commercial training sessions for partners and customers, both in person and online
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders (specifiers, customers, representatives) through periodic personal meetings

The successful APAC Sales Manager (Test & Measurement) should have prior experience in selling solutions or products to the utilities/medium voltage/high voltage sector. Direct experience in electrical test and measurement equipment is highly preferred.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related
• Minimum three years of experience in utility, medium voltage, or high voltage maintenance companies or contractors
• Experience with handling test and measurement equipment, ideally targeting the power/utilities industry
• Knowledge of protections and switchgear is preferred
• Proficient communication skills in presentations and verbal interactions with fluency in English
• Solid technical understanding of electrical fundamentals
• Displays self-confidence and a problem-solving attitude
• Goal and team-oriented mindset
