About the Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for formulating a comprehensive commercial calender detailing distribution, display, promotion and activation priorities, delivering the highest quality service alongside other trade marketing managers. You will also take the lead in providing direction to all trade related activities, including working across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, commercial excellence and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate marketing objectives into channel strategies to maximise corporate sales, profitability and growth
• Implement and monitor promotions and activities for overall trade marketing activities
• Drive promotional effectiveness across all channels – recommend the right type of POSM and quantify for generic display, launches or campaigns to engage with shoppers
• Improve trade visibility across all channels
• Ensure proper accountability and control of trade investment budgets and ensure proper return on investment spend

To succeed in this Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in marketing or business studies, or its equivalent
• At least five years of experience in trade marketing of FMCG products
• Team player, strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of key accounts is an advantage
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills and strong judgement and decision making
