Senior Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG)

An exciting Senior Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected global FMCG firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this is a role for a trade marketer who is a leader in their field.

About the Senior Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for formulating a comprehensive commercial calender detailing distribution, display, promotion and activation priorities, delivering the highest quality service alongside other trade marketing managers. You will also take the lead in providing direction to all trade related activities, including working across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, commercial excellence and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement shopper and trade strategies for all categories in order to meet the sales and market share objectives and targets
• Lead the trade marketing team to convert the strategic plan into action plan cover all in-store fundamental including assortment, pricing, in-store visibility for normal shelf and secondary display, in-store activation and promotion to win at the POS
• Lead category review to identify product/category issues and opportunities by channel with recommendations to maximise opportunities
• Track and measure sales performance vs. target, identify the possible gap, review the plan to close gap
• Liaise between sales management and brand management to communicate shopper and trade strategies
• Work closely with the marketing team in order to ensure that all trade and consumer promotions are align with brand strategies

To succeed in this Senior Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor holder
• At least eight years’ experience in managerial level
• Strong background of product and marketing knowledge
• Analytical, business acumen, negotiation, customer-oriented, presentation, result-driven
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Strong command in Nielson Advisor and data analysis
• Good command in English both spoken and written
