About the Channel Head (FMCG) Role:
This business critical role develops and executes sales and marketing strategies with both local and regional partners and channels in order to achieve the company’s objectives. Reporting directly to the group CEO, this is a role for a commercial head who is a leader in their field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements profitable sales and marketing strategies and optimisation of channels mix to achieve the company’s short and long-term objectives
• Provides direction to all business-related activities, including working across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, commercial excellence and external stakeholders
• Oversees the overall profit and loss of the company - monitor the cost and budget of all sales and marketing activities to optimise resources and efficient spending. Develops pricing and discount strategies to maximise sales revenue
• Leads the commercial team to implement the right strategies to develop company’s brands to the right channels and right customers. Acts as the catalyst to drive results, sets targets for team, analyse sales trends and leads proactive remedial actions
• Continuously drives value for company’s brands by optimising channel and product mix, value chains and commercial agreements
• Engage in prospecting and pursuing business ventures and negotiate terms of sales with new clients that will maximise the company’s business interests

To succeed in this Channel Head (FMCG) role, you must be numerically strong, possess outstanding strategic thinking abilities and strong experience in key account management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration, or similar
• Minimum of eight years of work experience in key account management and sales management in the FMCG industry
• Good communication and presentation skills, with strong command of English
• Good analytical, organisation and project management skills, and a positive work attitude
• Good understanding of research and able to work independently
