About the Senior Manager, Merchandising (Retail) Role:
You will be responsible for the overall category sales planning for the merchandising department, profit stock management, managing product profiling, sourcing, development promotion, brand management coordination, supplier management, stock day’s management, space and range management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with category manager on category needs
• Achieve forecast profits and sales of the designated product category
• Product sourcing and development that suits the need of the market
• Control stock levels based on forecasts for the season
• Analyse products and suppliers and execute next steps
• Meet with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock, possibly negotiating cost prices with suppliers

To succeed in Senior Manager, Merchandising job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum degree in business, marketing or equivalent
• At least five years of work experience in the retail managerial environment
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Results-oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent, outgoing, good public relations, pleasant personality
