About the Area Manager (Sport Lifestyle Retailer) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for achieving the sales target of the stores placed under your territory and managing the operations of the stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead stores profitability by driving sales and achieving company objectives
• Manage the operations of the stores within the territory
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure operation standards are maintained, provide necessary training to store managers and retail staff
• Review stock transfers and ensure all inventories are in placed within stores
• Plan monthly budget and annual sales targets for the area
• Maintain a good work environment by developing retail staff

To succeed in this Area Manager (Sport Lifestyle Retailer) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in a related field and a minimum of three years at a supervisory level
• Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese proficiency is an advantage as the candidate is required to work with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
• Willing to work according to pre-planned shifts
• Positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commercial thinking with a sales-driven mindset
