This senior role leads admissions and marketing strategy, partnering with regional and campus teams to deliver results. You’ll shape short-term performance and long-term positioning, build high-performing teams, and use data-driven insights to make a meaningful impact in education.

What you'll do:

As Regional Head of Sales and Marketing (Education Sector), you will be entrusted with leading all aspects of sales/admissions and marketing functions across Malaysia’s school network. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with campus principals, heads of sales/admissions, marketing leaders, and external partners such as parents and education agents. You will develop innovative strategies that not only attract new students but also retain existing ones through seamless re-enrolment processes. By leveraging data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms, you will forecast student numbers accurately while ensuring accountability for funnel performance at every stage. Your ability to design incentive plans for teams, standardise customer experience touchpoints, audit processes for quality assurance, and lead digital transformation initiatives will be key drivers in achieving sustainable growth. Success in this role means delivering measurable increases in student enrolments while nurturing high-performing teams who share your commitment to putting children first.

  • Own and drive ambitious regional admissions targets by holding campuses accountable for performance while fostering a culture of shared responsibility and achievement.
  • Develop and standardise admissions policies and best practices across all schools to ensure consistency, efficiency, and a personalised experience for every family.
  • Ensure effective use of CRM and MIS systems to manage leads efficiently, nurturing prospective families through every stage of the admissions journey.
  • Lead and optimise regional call centre operations to deliver high-quality leads that convert into successful student enrolments.
  • Design and implement structured training programmes to upskill admissions teams, supporting their professional growth and capability development.
  • Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes impacting student recruitment, adapting strategies proactively to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive agent strategy to maximise overseas enrolments while building strong international agent networks and B2B partnerships.
  • Set clear enrolment targets using robust forecasting tools, ensuring accurate reporting frameworks are in place for timely data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with finance leadership to align enrolment goals with organisational objectives, ensuring targets are both ambitious and achievable.
  • Oversee annual marketing strategies including digital campaigns, media planning, brand management, budget optimisation, and support for new school launches.

What you bring:

To excel as Regional Head of Sales and Marketing (Education Sector), you will bring extensive experience from senior roles where you have successfully driven commercial outcomes through strategic sales initiatives. Your background may span education or other service-oriented sectors; what matters most is your ability to apply advanced sales methodologies tailored for student recruitment. You possess an innate talent for building rapport with diverse stakeholders—from campus leaders to international agents—and can translate complex data into actionable insights that inform both tactical moves and long-term planning. Your interpersonal skills foster trust among team members while your coaching approach nurtures their professional development. With a keen eye on market trends and regulatory shifts affecting education landscapes in Malaysia or beyond, you adapt quickly without losing sight of core values centred around children’s wellbeing. Your proficiency with digital tools ensures seamless integration between marketing efforts and admissions processes—ultimately creating an environment where families feel supported throughout their journey.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or related field is required for this senior leadership position.

  • Demonstrated track record in revenue growth through customer acquisition strategies and conversion optimisation techniques is highly valued.
  • Experience managing multi-site or multi-market operations is strongly preferred as it enables effective oversight across diverse campuses.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams towards shared goals are crucial.
  • Comfort operating within complex matrix organisations where collaboration across departments is necessary for optimal outcomes is important.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM systems (such as HubSpot) along with proficiency in digital marketing platforms ensures efficient lead management.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data sets for forecasting purposes supports evidence-based decision making throughout the region.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are needed when engaging internal leaders as well as external partners like agents or parents.
