As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will play an instrumental role in identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts while also seeking out new avenues for expansion.   • Identify and pursue strategic initiatives and new business opportunities within key customers as well as through new acquisitions, ensuring sustainable growth across all relevant channels.
  • Take full accountability for sell-out sales performance by category and channel for distributors, consistently monitoring results to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Lead efforts to acquire new business by profiling potential prospects, establishing initial contact, and maintaining long-term relationships that foster mutual success.
  • Manage and monitor the regional budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximise return on investment.
  • Coordinate timely listing of new products into key accounts according to launch plans, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Review monthly and quarterly sales performance data with distributors and buyers, conducting thorough business reviews to assess promotion effectiveness and align strategies for both sell-in and sell-out by category.
  • Prepare comprehensive business plan presentations tailored for distributors and customers, clearly articulating value propositions and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure that distributors implement agreed action plans within stipulated time frames, following up diligently to collect required reports on outcomes achieved post-execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches, promotional activities, and other initiatives aimed at driving market penetration.

To excel as a Senior Business Development Executive, your background should reflect hands-on experience managing key accounts within the FMCG sector particularly in modern trade settings where relationship-building is paramount.   • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills that enable you to build rapport quickly and convey complex information succinctly.
  • Showcase strong analytical abilities paired with outstanding interpersonal skills that allow you to interpret data accurately while fostering positive working relationships.
  • Maintain a positive attitude coupled with high motivation levels that inspire those around you even during challenging periods.
  • Display solid computer literacy with particular strength in Excel for managing data analysis tasks efficiently.
