Assistant Export Sales Manager (FMCG)
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Export Sales Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage sales and marketing for the SEA & Oceania region. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will be responsible for top line and bottom line of the region, managing P&L and A&P / Rebates budgets, planning and executing marketing strategies with distributor partners, and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
What you'll do:
As an Assistant Export Sales Manager (FMCG), your role will be pivotal in driving sales growth across the SEA & Oceania region. You will be entrusted with managing both the top line and bottom line of the region while ensuring smooth coordination between various internal teams and external partners. Your excellent planning skills will be put to use in executing marketing strategies alongside distributor partners. Furthermore, your ability to nurture relationships will play a crucial role in maintaining connections with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also extend to coordinating with creative agencies for digital media content creation and overseeing packaging design development.
- Accountable for top line and bottom line of the region
- Region P&L and A&P / Rebates budgets management
- Demand and supply planning of the region / markets
- Planning, alignments & execution of marketing / promotional strategies with close coordination with distributor partners
- Support the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, customers, and local agencies.
- Coordinate with creative agency for digital media content, planning & execution
- Develop and execute Packaging/label design development & obtain local approval for the region.
- Implement and coordinate the execution of the trade related A&P programmes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth export operations
- Assist in resolving any issues related to export logistics and supply chain management
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Assistant Export Sales Manager (FMCG) position brings a wealth of regional sales/marketing experience from an international FMCG company. You possess a solid understanding of business operations coupled with experience in trade marketing. Your strong commercial mindset and analytical capabilities will be key in driving business growth. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is a must for this role. You are an expert in Excel and proficient in PowerPoint. Your personal competencies include being result-oriented, systematic, well-organized, and a good communicator. Above all, you are a team player who works collaboratively and respectfully with others.
- Minimum 5 years with regional sales / marketing experience in international FMCG company is preferred.
- Solid business understanding and experience with trade marketing.
- Strong commercial mindset combined with analytical capabilities (statistics, data analytics etc.)
- Full English written & spoken is a requirement.
- Expert in Excel and proficient in PowerPoint
- Result oriented and ambitious
