Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager for their Export Market division. This role is an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of sales strategies and drive revenue growth in international markets. You will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities and fostering strong relationships with international stakeholders. Your excellent communication skills will be key in providing day-to-day support and guidance to the sales team.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Manager in the Export Market division, you will play a crucial role in driving our client's growth. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and execution of sales strategies that align with the company's objectives. You will also be tasked with identifying new business opportunities internationally while fostering strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and partners. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will be key as you guide the sales team to meet or surpass their targets.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and marketing plans for overseas target markets
  • Support the initiation and coordination of action plans aimed at penetrating new markets
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports for Management review
  • Support in identifying and establishing strong relationships with international distributors, retailers, and partners
  • Communicate with Logistics and Warehouse & Production functions to work out demand forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal laws and regulations of the local and targeted export market

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Assistant Manager role brings a wealth of experience from a Sales background, preferably within the FMCG industry. You are knowledgeable about planning, executing, and coordinating sales initiatives. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills make you adept at negotiating deals and building relationships with clients. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can demonstrate your initiative. A strong understanding of current trends and best practices in sales management is essential for success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a Sales role (preferably in FMCG industry)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in planning, executing, and coordinating sales initiatives
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in sales management
